They definitely got some solid hip-hop picks this year, I'm pretty excited for that

I'm starting to feel like they will "group" theses shows together. It just makes sense.

Confession: Until yesterday, I didn't realize that Moog had a hip-hop component!! How that is, I have NO idea.
That being said, I am not generally a hip-hop type of girl. I caught the end of GZA at Roo and was actually really feeling it. I am super excited to get another chance to see more of him!

I was sad about missing GZA at Bonnaroo. Glad I get to make that up.
El-P is just amazing live. I've seen him a few times and as recently as June with Killer Mike. They both pull off AMAZING shows. I'm gonna be stuck where ever they put these. I'm reallllly hoping for The Orange Peel.

Loved GZA at Roo! Definitely gonna catch that again, barring conflicts. Also pumped for El-P.
I honestly didn't realize that Killer Mike was still around. I own his debut album Monster, from 2003. I was 15 and bought it because I head A.D.I.D.A.S. on the radio and thought it was pretty funny (for those who don't know, it stands for "All Day I Dream About Sex"). It turned out to be a really good album! Where should I start with his newer stuff?

Confession: Until yesterday, I didn't realize that Moog had a hip-hop component!! How that is, I have NO idea. That's not surprising. The only hip hop last year was Childish Gambino, which is borderline.

I thought that it was just for my lack of knowledge. Now I feel better

Some EXCELLENT hip hop this year (especially what Friday has going on, Jesus Christ)! Wanted to see El-P at Roo 07 (i think it was) but ended up elsewhere for some reason, so that's most likely going to be seen, but I'd love to see Killer Mike and GZA as well. Should be no reason to not be able to see at least one of these shows.

It's been almost 10 days and I'm still geeking out. I can't wait for El.
