This machine has been specially designed for use on narrow pavement and cycle path bridges or sidewalks with low payload. The total load of 3 tons is evenly distributed in use on the two tracks and the transport height of just 2.9 m allows a standard transport on a car trailer.
The MBI 50-1 / SR has a horizontal reach under the bridge of 5.0 m and can reach a lowering depth of up to 4.5 m. The platform is 1.0 m wide and can be loaded with up to 300 kg (150 kg at the platform end).
At the customer's request, the bridge sundeck was additionally equipped with the special bodywork function (excavator body), which allows it to be installed between, for example, overhead lines in the railway area or on truss bridges.
The bar can hereby be rotated by 90 ° before setting up the tower and thus be threaded into the bridge. The scaffolding cube also supplied complements the equipment by the possible access to the top.
