This is my first year, so nothing to compare it to. Is this how check-in has worked in years' past? If i get in line around 3, can I expect for this thing to move along fairly quickly?

Hoping to get some time post-check-in, pre-Pantha du Prince, to grab a nap, some beers, etc...

I'd show up at 3pm if you could. I seem to remember the line being kind of sluggish last year, but I could be remembering wrong.

I went around 3-3:30 last year and walked in and walked right out no problem. Less than five minutes. It's the people that waited that had the issues...

Also, the new information if you're going to Justice:

If you are continuing your amazing Asheville weekend by attending Moogfest 2012, you will be able to check in to the festival early in the U.S. Cellular Center lobby at the Justice show from 7pm to 10pm on Thursday, October 25. If you have a Weekend Pass or Friday single day ticket for the festival, please bring it with you on Thursday and you'll be able to grab your wristband before anyone else! (Please note: If you have a Saturday single day pass for Moogfest you can only check in on Saturday).

I'd say take care of it before you worry about checking in to you hotel. Or do it during Justice if you are going to that.
