I just received the nicest postal from Spencer & MF Spaceman from AC Entertainment... The letter mentions all of you, so I thought I would share:
"Jason, Sorry to hear you can't make it to Moogfest this year, but all of us at AC wish your dad the best. Fans like you and everyone else on Infomoog make festivals like Moogfest possible, so thank you for the support. Hope to see you in Asheville next October. Best, Spencer & MF Spaceman."
I am so touched, I'm speechless (well except for the words in this post)...

I did not get a letter last year thanking me for my attendance (nor did I expect one) -- but I definately felt that love that they showed you (and is the main reason I am returing this year -- even if Tangerine Dream is not on the bill).
Moogfest is put on by a terrific promoter paying homage to a great innovator - hosted by a great city with a fantastic populace - that attracts the most amazing fans. It will be very hard for me not to spend the remainder of my birthdays in Asheville attending every subsequent Moogfest.
Leaving Dallas 7pm on Tuesday and navigating I-30 and I-40 and hoping for a drama-free drive, with arrival in Asheville on Wednesday.
Hope to see you all there.
