What up. Been around for a while. I was booted from inforoo years ago for silliness but no need to hold that against me(i hope). Been to all the roos except this year and last year and enough other music festivals and shows to be declared musically insane. Been following the Moog threads over there the past couple for up to date info, and decided to join up here since its technically a different site. Cant wait for this years!
Name: Jason What my user name represents/means: Its a highschool thing that I have used for art ever since. From: SC Favorite Bands: It would be easier to list least favorite. Would it be possible for me to become an admin? I've been around inforoo for a few years, at almost 2,000 posts there, and I headed the Moogfest thread there last year. Is this even where I should be asking?

Also, I want to confess (and I guess this is the best place to do it?) that I was a lurker at this past year's Bonnaroo brunch. I went for a bit with some other people in my camping group that went. I doubt anyone noticed me, and I was only there for a brief time, maybe 20 minutes. I was the guy in the black shorts with the black hat and mirror sunglasses (no shirt). No nametag. I remember seeing Sang, Bunny, Phi, JHO, ODB, and Mayo. I just wanted to see the scene. It was worth going over to just check it out.

As someone who was also born and raised there, let me express my condolences for having Oak Ridge for a home town. Haha it's a great place to be from... but not to live between the ages of 17 and when you start a family! I didn't know there were other Oak Ridgers on here. When did you graduate? Would it be possible for me to become an admin? I've been around inforoo for a few years, at almost 2,000 posts there, and I headed the Moogfest thread there last year. Is this even where I should be asking? You really don't want it. Too much drama for a board that has 48 members. but...but...but... I already feel left out!! Nah, it's cool, no worries. Just asking to try and feel validated or something. Still very excited that this board exists!

My name is Chris My username is my universal user name, is also my real name. I am from Chattanooga, TN. Favorite bands is hard to say, but my favorite ones I've seen this year include: TMBG, EOTO, Shpongle, Radiohead, Phish, Art vs. Science, Umphreys McGee, Big Gigantic, Moon Taxi, SBTRKT, Conspirator, SCI, Beats Antique, STS9, Break Science, Chali 2na, Gramatik, Santigold, KTDU. All time favorite artist: I know hes a jerk but Roger Waters - I get goosebumps thinking about seeing The Wall last year. But artist that I've seen the most? Trey Anastasio is about tied with Les Claypool methinks but I'm sure Jason and Travis from SCI/EOTO are getting pretty close now. Favorite book: Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test - so typical. Favorite movie: This is also a tough one, I fondly remember The Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Favorite TV Show: Walking Dead (currently) and Futurama (all time) First Concert Attended: I had strict parents and was a late bloomer - but Widespread Panic and George Clinton and the P. Funk Allstars played at my high school which I saw both of. But my first real concert 'experience' was Phish 07/01/99 in Antioch TN. Changed my life. Last concert attended was Big Gigantic at the end of EFF. I saw Dom on stage 9 times between Bonnaroo and EFF - the summer of sax. I imagine they'll be at Moogfest though no one has mentioned it in the speculation threads. The next concerts I'm going to (since I can't afford both Gnarnia AND Moog) are Yellow Dubmarine (just down the street), Moon Taxi, Matisyahu w/ Dirty Heads, Phish in Lakehood, Snarky Puppy, UM (in my mom's back yard!), Conspirator, UM again, Moog, Moon Taxi again, and UM again x2 for NYE as long as the world doesnt end during Mayan Holidaze. Moogfests attended: 2011 - Fave acts: Chromeo, Holy Quack, FLips, Childish, EOTO, UM, STS9, SBTRKT, Beats Antique. Wishlist: I'm gonna have a blast no matter who plays, I only wish for few conflicts since we only have two days to squeeze it in. I speculate that we will see fewer, bigger acts and a similar ticket price as last year. I just hope its not ALL dj's.

Dave and I both live right outside of Oak Ridge, in fact I just got home from OR, I had a client there.
